NEWS FLASH : Upcoming social events:
The Social Events committee has planned the following events for the next few months;
17 FEB : to be held at Nazareth House (in Vredehoek) this will be a 'Not only for new members evening' This will provide updated information on the Christian Hiking Network including activities planned for the year, an opportunity to meet the hike leaders, the screening of short DVD’s of some of the recent hikes as well as the awarding of the "smartie awards". The awarding of the smartie of the year award will be by audience participation. There will be a time for socializing - snacks and liquid refreshments will be provided. There will be a charge of R30 per head to cover the costs of the evening. Starting time will be 7,30 p.m. - if you will be joining us, and this is a great opportunity for those who are new to the CHN to meet the faces behind the names, please let me know by e-mail. (if you need directions we will e-mail these to you.)
21 MAR :A Labia social evening : this will be a movie followed by a meal at one of the restaurants - details to follow in due course
11 MAY : A presentation by our Annapurna crew on their trip in late 2011- details to follow in due course
